Joss Stone - Introducing Joss Stone

The Fabulous Miss Stone finally comes back with her stunning 3rd studio album( due 20th march in the US and 13th March in Europe) and i must say what a comeback. Although the guest turn from Lauryn Hill feels a little forced and out of place on "Music" there is not one track on this album that is skippable( which is rare for any album). Each track is so well written and crafted with Joss's stunning vocals and i defy anyone( fans and non fans) to find anything really wrong with this album.

HUGE news. well, a new press release has let us know that Bjork will release her next studio album May 7th 2007. The title of the follow up to "Medulla" will be "Volta". The album will feature 10 new songs, all written and produced by Bjork. In this record she has worked with the likes of Antony Hegarty, Timbaland, Mark Bell, Chris Corsano, and Brian Chippendale.

Mark your calendars people! Bjork is back. =)

This little woman is still full of talent, and of course this material is a brillantine of 2007, definitly ! The covers of The Stooges & Nirvana are incredibly genuis. Of course, the only bad thing is that her voice is not that great.. but the electronical/pop enchanting instrumentals put the whole thing up ! If you like Björk, Goldfrapp, Fiona Apple... YOU'LL LOVE IT !

Good Charlotte!
A new track from the rock/pop band leaked. It's a bonus track or B-side (probably from the "Keep Your Hands Off My Girl" CDS. It's a typical Good Charlotte track. Kinda catchy and yeh. Very good overall. The song is called "Face The Strange". Their new album "Good Morning Revival" is set to be released March 27th. Yayness.

3 New Clips!!

Um...i dont know what to make out of this clips. Her style sounds SO old school hilary duffy for me...dont know why. Anyways im sure Avril wont disappoint with this album (hopefully). Well the three new clips are for three new songs (DUH): "I Can Do Better" (which is my fave, its very goodXD), "When You're Gone"(nice acoustic ballad, remind me of "How Does It Feel"), and "Everything Back But You". Avrils new album "The Best Damn Thing" is set to be released April 17th! YAY.

One Minute!
Kelly Clarkson performed a new song from her upcoming album (maybe the first single?) to be released later this year. The song is called "One Minute" and its like retro electro/rock kinda thing. Im loving it. The quality of the MP3 is not very good though since it was recorded at a concert. Im ABSOLUTELY loving this!

A spanglish version of Avril Lavignes new single "Girlfriend" of her album "The Best Damn Thing" was released in Itunes. Her spanish isn't that good really but its quite understandable. Anyways, i think "Girlfriend" is an OK song, i don't see it being very succesful.

Frank Iero; guitarist from My Chemical Romance has started a side band called "Leathermouth". In this band hes the vocalist/throat and there are other 4 members. They are signed to Skeleton Crew Records. They are Rock / Punk / Hardcore. Anyways i actualli like them quite a lot so yay. BTW loads of shouting going on so...yeh. :p

Technikart TV

The greatest news, culture & society magazine ever made, Technikart has started a new project a webTV. Of course, as a fan of the magazine's mind, I love the TV's mind too. It's kinda anti-new wave, but so new wave/indie. This is the paradoxe of Technikart that I love. The TV is quite funny & weird, there is of course unknow musicvideos, documentaries, interview of lots of indie artists. I know... this is still a french thing, but not only frenchies are on it of course, I'm believe that in Europe there's a new culture coming since some years, I called it Frenglish Culture and I'm so into it. That's also why I post on this blog in english some french stuff ! Because on Internet there's no borders.

The Academy Is...
Two new songs off their new album have leaked and they are really great. The sound is a bit different from their first album but still so good. wow i love this band. The two tracks are "We've Got A Big Mess In Our Hands" (which is set to be the first single supposedly), oh this song is a bit...heavier a bit? yeh i think very good, bit catchy. And the other song is "LAX to O'Hare", which imo is so much better than the other song. loving it realli.

Mini Beyonce Update.
So yeah. Beyonce is re-releasing her latest album "B-Day" on April 4th supposedly. Its set to include a video for every song on the album and a few new songs (spanish and english) including a spanglish duet with Shakira. Nyways. One new spanish song (kinda) leaked which is "Amor Gitano" which features Alejandro Fernandez (this song is featured on a new soap opera in Mexico) and this mini clip of a new song called "World Wide Woman (WWW)" surfaced. Both very good songs tbh. The beat on WWW is so GOOD.

You Liked AaRON's Album ? You'll Love Them In Live

Yes, as I said previously, I went to their first showcase in Lyon. Of course, they were very very stressed but when the first track "Endless Song" begun, they really came out. The show was really intimate, because there wasn't many people out there but it's quite better in a way. Of course, they sung their first single "U-Turn (Lili)", in a beautiful piano/voice version, like "Angel Dust" too. They didn't really sung that much songs but it was a great preview of what's gonna be the tour. The one that touched me the most & made me cry in live was "Strange Fruit" a cover of Billie Holiday from 1930s, it was when black people weren't allowed to go to shows and stuff, they only could do the show for the whites, like clowns infact... So, Simon & Olvier from AaRON said they think it was important this kind of songs & lyrics were still performed in our days, simply to remember.
To close the show, they choosed the future hit song "Blow", when Simon, the singer annouced this one, I said "AAah !! Great !" and he noticed me, and said : "Oh ! I see someone already knows this one, YOU'RE MY FRIEND !! THX !!" (Because nobody knew really their songs, except me of course, and "Blow" is one of my favorite...so...) When the song begun, everybody kinda went crazy about it, and when it finished, they sung it a second time FULLY ! That was amazing to see how happy AaRON were ! That's why I really think they souuld release it as a new single if they are that smarts...
At the end, I went to see, talk to them, asked some stuff, autographs of course, and rendez-vous to the first concert off their tour, march 14th in Lyon too.

Bjork Reveals Release Date?

Hidden away in the top right-hand corner of Björk's website, written in small font in the "Future Releases, Radio + TV section", it says this:

07.05.07 - New Album (tbc)

So it seems that Björk has set a tentative release date for her highly anticipated new album-- you know, the one that features collaborations with Antony, Timbaland, Lightning Bolt's Brian Chippendale, and many more. That would be May 7, a Monday-- so we assume that's the European release date.
