Says:*Junkie XL is at work on the score for the upcoming film "Dead or Alive," based on the video game of the same name. "The music is almost like a very new version of what the old scores were for James Bond movies and 'Mission: Impossible,'" Holkenborg says. "It has really strong themes and cool use of guitars, sounds and orchestral stuff." The film opens Aug. 25 in U.S. theaters.
*Christina Milian is readying the spring release of her third album, "So Amazin,'" produced by Miami-based duo Cool and Dre. Due April 25, the Island Def Jam set also boasts appearances from Young Jeezy and Lil Wayne.
*Milian is also gearing up for another film role in the horror thriller "Pulse," due in July. The movie is directed by Jim Sonzero and based on Kiyoshi Kurosawa's Japanese film, "Kairo." .
*singer/songwriter Ben Jelen has teamed with in-demand songwriter/producer Linda Perry for a new album, dubbed "East." No release date or label has yet been decided for the project.
