The Killers - Sams Town
The Las Vegas based band are back with their sophomore album Sams Town. Their first album was pop/dance/rock at its best. With this album the band decided to change it up and go in a different direction wich is a risky move that in my opinion pays off. The album is full of great rock songs and throwbacks to the earlier rock n roll tracks from the 70's and 80's. Standout tracks include the first single When You Were Young, Bones(which will be second single with video directed by Edward Scissor Hands director Tim Burton) and the fantasticly catchy titled Bling(Confession of a King). Granted not everyone will like this change in style too much but hey not many bands take this risk and amange to make it work. Enjoy!! SEE COMMENTS FOR MY COMMENTS!!
