So this is like my new favorite band. They're from the lovely town of Chicago. Their album came out in February and I haven't stopped listening to it. It's a great mix of Emo songs (or Power Piano Pop as Pat the lead singer calls it). Here's my 3 favorite songs off their album and hell, these should be their singles. And the fact that I'm friends with Pat D'Andrea and Greg Shanahan has nothing to do with why they're awesome!
Caught In The Rain
This is a great Pop-Rock tune thats heavy on the guitars/pianos and there is a great breakdown at the end where it's just Pat's raw vocals singing the chorus. It's great!
Walking
This is a song about the idea that not everyone's perfect and that everyone loses their way. It starts off really melodic and acoustic-y but it gets really upbeat. Thats kind of annoying, but its a great song!
Tounge Tied
This is a really acoustic track at the beginning to the core. Pat's vocals here are great, they sort of remind me of Chris Carabara's voice of Dashboard Confessional. It's a sweet love song.
