Review:
Villeneuve’s First Date is one of those albums that will make both the indie rock and electro kids happy. It crosses the lines between Indie Rock, American Folk, and Electronic and Pop music. There are not too many albums out there that I feel like all my friends will like, but First Date has enough to please every audience. Villeneuve reminds me of The Postal Service, Imogen Heap , Air or Feist - at times. It’s cool and subtle, but does not rely on cheap tricks, nostalgia or fluff. There’s real substance here, and it makes for an amazing album. "BRILLIANT" !

Short Review:
Alternative/Indie Electro pop but without too much guitar..Much Mellower Than Indie...& i think it hase slgiht trace sof urban music in some songs.

Review:
This album is a sparkly masterpiece of twee pop, set to a backdrop of growly guitars and electronica. The chalets have produced an album of immediate appeal, with punchy melodies and some fantastic hooks. The sweet combination of male and female vocal, upbeat, electro sound. Overall a very impressive debut..Chalets stand out from the crowd with their kitsch each of their blissful little pop creations you feel as though you're listening in to a conversation. Every song on the album could very easily be a single with the tempo and tone of songs varying throughout, it's hard to find something to not like about this album, in fact it's pretty impossible. From the opening lines of the impossibly catchy single 'Feel The Machine' to the poigniantly atmospheric sound of 'Fight You Kids', from the sound of summer 'No Style' to the darkness 'Love Punch'.."BRILLIANT".

Short Review:
Indie but In Electropop skin..u get confused which is stronger than which, it could be distrubing at some times (but the good kind of disturbance).
