Regina Spektor - Begin To Hope
Her new album ! Regina is a wonderful & crazy artist from Moscow, she released bunch of albums... And this one is her new one. Maybe the more quiet one... lol Because most of the songs are with piano and she does not really go to madness. For some people (like me) it's much better. But, there are some songs called "20 Years Of Snow" & "Après Moi" that are really much more like her old work. There are also some songs with awesome beats that reminds Feist ones, and her voice has a little Björk touch too. Anyway, it's hard to describe her & her style & her music with words. That's why the better way to know her is to listen to her... Because you can HATE her easily or LOVE her immediatly. Because Regina is Regina. (Very philosophic sentence...). And, the same problem comes... choose 5 songs from an incredible 2006 brillantine album...

Take cover from huski "Huski" coz they are for sure a hit to fall on us soon! New english group made of 3 ppl "Maple Bee (the girl Who Sings all the songs), Pike (the guy who makes and produce all their music) & James Sutton (brilliant photographer, filmmaker, designer & in charge of all huski visuals & artwork)! how hot is that it's like a record label in a form of a band ! and OH GOD their music is soo good & addictive, "Maple Bee's" vocals are rediculously similar to Alison goldfrapp, & not just the vocals even their music spceially on the 1st single "Make Me Your Picture" but they are leaning more toward Electro Indie than Electro Pop. Tune Of The Week : Cagedbaby - Hello There
Latest single by one of my favourite electronica dj's "Hello There" is like toffee munchy, warm, milky, sticky, buttery & sweet, It's already on my summer brill mix (a cd i make in the begining of every summer vacation consisting my favourite summer anthems). Most ppl make crazy upbeat compilation discs for their summer vacation but i do the opposite i like it to be relaxing, warm and lazy i guess thats how i am. "Hello There" is filled with lush & echoey sounds incuding vocoded robotic birds chirping & a smooth buttery beat that just slides out of your speakers to your brain & the half sleepy vocals gives a sense of comfortness & relaxation. If i had an mp3 alarm clock i would choose to wake up to this song everyday (until i get bored of it).
*"Hello There" was Released 3rd, April 2006... Is it just me or is "Summer" the season where we become "Extremely Horny" all the time ? ohh and if anyone have or can get me the album "Will See You Now" plz contact me through email.

We spent four hours in the playroom with Frances. We saw Schindler’s List.
It made us frightened for life and we saw the value of life.
Our convictions we defined until 4 a.m. and we fell asleep in each other’s arms and
woke up that way in the morning.”
Love plans to do a book tour in Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle and New York,
