Janet Jackson - Call On Me (ft. Nelly)

.New Single Promo Poster.

Madonna Teaming Up with Lohan?
Madonna and Lindsay Lohan are planning an unlikely duet, according to US reports. The odd couple have reportedly become new best friends due to their links to Kabbalah, and now they're in secret talks to record a tune together, according to America's In Touch magazine. And, according to insiders, the couple also plan to appear in a movie together. A source says, "They're helping each other. Madonna's giving Lindsay advice on her music career, and she wants to work on a film with Madonna too." The insider also tells the publication that Madonna and Lohan are planning a trip to Israel together once the Material Girl's Confessions world tour is over.

"Get Up "
A new Ciara song, It's from the new movie "Step Up" soundtrack
the song is produced by Jazze Pha, She'll do a video for the song,
which she held a contest for dancers(the winners will appear in the video)
the song have everything you like/expect from Ciara.

DL: Ciara - Get Up
I'm Going To Tell You a Secret.

Hé-Hé-Hé ! We've got it ! Finally... Hum, first I wanna how I loved this documentary very much & and how genuis it was. Now, let's talk about the CD. Recorded in Paris,
the sound is really great and it's really a great thing to finally
have "
The Beast Within" in HQ and CD-Rip... I'm definitly in love with this song,
The others tracks are great too,"
Nobody Knows Me" is much better in this live version!
& "
American Life" version is of course amazing, I don't need to talk about
"
The Lament" & "Mother & Father
" live, No words for it,
Even "I Love New-York" original version is more interesting than COAD one
The only "bad" things on this CD is :
Not the full concert - Live voice not that great
I'm not gonna post the tracklist & details about this CD/DVD set because I think you all
know it at all, so just a little file with some cool stuff off this CD... Surprise!

D/L : O.C. Little Thing

Ariane Moffatt - Le Coeur Dans La Tête
This girl is a jewel, this is her second & new album. She's from Montreal & she's more known in France for her collaborations with -M- (Mathieu Chedid) a french artist well know over here. But, the thing is that I hate -M- but Ariane... Wow ! At first secondes of the albums, you think it will be "as all new alternatives french artists" but, no ! She's much better & interesting than that. Why ? Because, the song are really sweet and when you just don't expect a rythm on it, it arrives ! The thing with Ariane, is that you just NEED to listen to the WHOLE SONG to really KNOW IT FULLY. Believe, even if the begining of a song may be seems boring... wait & don't zap. Basically her album is with PianoElectroAlternativeFunky sounds, and she reminds me a little Feist stuff, in a better way... There is also a song called "Montreal" that is so Raggae ! :) The sweetest & most beautiful one for me is "Imparfait"... Piano/Voice... Lovely. So, here's my 5 favorites songs... (as always, HARD TO CHOOSE !)

Tracklist : (+5 songs to download)
01. Combustion Lente
02. Se Perdre
03. Le Coeur Dans La Tête
04. Montréal
05. Retourne Chez Elle
06. Farine 5 Roses
07. Imparfait
08. Will You Follow Me
09. Terminus
10. Valentine

PD5!
As we mentioned last month (
article) P. Diddy is working on his upcoming & "Last" music album "PD5" to be released September 19, but this time it's going to be an Electro-Clash, Techno & House Album ! So far only 3 of his tracks were commercialy released on vinyl (except for "Let's Get Ill" out on CD too) ! i'm pretty sure he can pull off this style witht the gang of Dj's he recruited & guest artists & i'm very pleased with what i heard so far. So until september here are 3 full official tracks for you to enjoy & decide wether this genre works for diddy or not.

Tracklist:
1. P. Diddy & Kelis - Let's Get Ill (Deep Dish Radio Mix) (2003)
2. P. Diddy & Felix Da Housecat - Jack U (Hell Remix) (2005)
3. P. Diddy & Morillo - Dance I Said (Touche Remix) (2006)

DL: P. Diddy - PD5

*the electronica elements on "Jack U (Hell Remix)" are SICK, reminds me alot of tiefschwarz style. "Dance I Said" is more electro-house & "Let's Get Ill" is dance but i dont liek it much !

Eat The Bitch!
A new Lil' Kim "Dance Remixes" single have been released June 6, the single contain 10 remixes all were only available on vinyl, for the
tracklist/buy click here, i'm not a big dance remixes fan, but gotta love this one...I love how they remixed Big Momma Thang especially the (Jason Nevins Goldfinger mix)...Nothing to say about the other mixes because most of them been posted about here before, give this a try...you'll love it.

DL: Big Momma Thang (Jason Nevins Goldfinger mix)

TOTP B'Dday!
Recently BBC went to a listening party for the new Beyonce album, 'B Day' - with a special video AND mini-hamburgers. When we managed to stop wiggling our sassy asses, we scribbled a few thoughts down. But generally, we thought the four tracks we heard were ACE!

1. 'Deja Vu' ft Jay-Z
TOTP 1.1: Brassy!
TOTP 1.2: Sounds a bit like Kylie. Disco glam.
TOTP 1.1: I can just imagine you dancing to this. Funky!
TOTP 1.2: Has summer written all over it.
TOTP 1.1: Is that guy in front actually waving his hands in the air (like he just doesn't care)?
TOTP 1.2: Hmmmmm.

2. 'Ring the Alarm'
TOTP 1.2: Sirens! This'll be good.
TOTP 1.1: Sounds like she's singing through a large fluffy pillow.
TOTP 1.2: Very bass-heavy and angry. Beyonce goes police officer!
TOTP 1.1: My ears hurt. I need more orange juice.
TOTP 1.2: It's quite crazy and schizophrenic. Three songs in one. A bit like 'Work It Out'.
TOTP 1.1: Goes on a bit, though.

3. 'Freedom Dress'
TOTP 1.2: Crazy In Love Part II.
TOTP 1.1: It's like out of tune Clangers.
TOTP 1.2: Those scales are amazing...
TOTP 1.1: I think she's going to explode. Deep breath...
TOTP 1.2: It's awesome. Really manic. Up and up and up and up!
TOTP 1.1: I wish I had some long curly hair to fling around.
TOTP 1.2: OMG! Cowbells. I'm in heaven.

4. 'Give It To Momma' we think. We couldn't hear over the sheer LOUDNESS!
TOTP 1.2: The return of "oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-oh-no-no".
TOTP 1.1: It's like a game of Pong, but inside your brain.
TOTP 1.2: *Looks confused*
TOTP 1.1: Like 'Crazy In Love' variations. But that's a good thing.
TOTP 1.2: But with MORE cowbells.
TOTP 1.1: More bongos!

Verdict
Album sampler: 9/10
Mini hamburgers: 12/10
Corporate video (excepting major bum-wiggling): -6/10

Lesson #1 : The Evolution Of Simian Mobile Disco
ok kids focus on todays subject and pay attention as i'm only going to explain this once,
get your text books out, anyone who doesn't behave will be spanked.. let's start:

The "Simians" are the higher primates very common to most people: the monkeys and the apes,
including humans. Simians tend to be larger than the "lower primates" or prosimians.
In 2001 four english human simians named "Simon William Lord, James Ellis Ford, Alex MacNaghten & James Anthony Shaw" decided to start an "Electro-Rock" band
called "Simian" they released a number of singles through 2 studio albums first
"Chemistry Is What We Are (2001)" & last "
We Are Your Friends (2003)" probably the most memorable song by them is "Never Be Alone (mp3/Video)" with its terribly catchy chorus line
"Because We Are Your Friends, You'll Never Be Alone Again, Well C'Mon".
Too bad in 2005 the simian era ended & the band split but thank god "James Ellis Ford & James Anthony Shaw" had already formed a splinter group called "Simian Mobile Disco" immediately
this new "Electro-Dance" oriented Duo started to work on their new music and experimenting
to find their signature sound through scattered releases with tracks titled "The Mighty Atom,
Boatrace, Upside Down, Piggy In The Middle, Pulse, The Count" while these were
being released "SMD" instantly became in demand as remixers for many artists such as
"Air, The Go! Team, Max Waters, Diefenbach, The Droyds, Hardkandy, Revl9n"!
Now in 2006 "SMD" have personally confirmed to me that there is going to be a full album &
It's almost done, the first single is going to be a double A side vinyl "Clik" & "Hustler" out "June 12 2006" Now even though the old band "Simian" is over they decided to release just one last single
to milk few bucks out of what's left of their remains so they collaborated with my current crush
the Electro-Noise-Dance duo "Justice" to release a new more electronic version of their hit
"Never Be Alone" only this time under the title "
We Are Your Friends (mp3/Video)" out "3 July 2006" So from this moment i repeat "Simian Mobile Disco" is going to be one of 2006 best and most unique Electrodance albums... Check out some of SMD tunes here.

*I recommend both "Simian" albums, they are between my most precious cd's i never took it out of the house and never let any of my friends borrow it, i keep both in a nylon cover to protect them from
scratchin and dust gettin into the cd case i love them as much as i love
"Death From Above 1979" & "Mew"
Best money i spent on rock cd's ever.

Proud Simian/SMD Fan Since 2001 <3

The Submarines
are Blake Hazard and John Dragonetti, they pack a full-on punch of infectious
hooks and melodies in pretty sad songs about love with great production,
this is for the indie pop/rock fans, it is really good stuff, very deep...they wrote
their whole album "Declare A New State" together..and both of their vocals are on spot,
although i prefer Blake's voice (just cuz i prefer female singers in general)
that's why you'll notice it's only her singing on most of the songs I picked for preview,
but that doesn't mean that John is bad, I totally love his voice on "Vote"
the album "Declare A New State" coming
June 20.

Röyksopp - Beautiful Day Without You

I've been waiting for this video for months now, too bad it seems like this is the 4th and last single off the masterpiece "The Understanding" & as usual Röyksopp never let me down when it comes to their unique style in either music & videos. The most impressing video imo from "The Understanding" era is the Bjork-Esque "What Else Is There ?". I really hope in another 4 years Röyksopp will anounce a new album in the making & i will piss in my pants while reading the announcement, for now "The Understanding" is still fresh & playable for a couple years to come. Enjoy the video of my official 2006 summer anthem.

You can watch the previous videos from "The Understanding" era in order of release "Only This Moment / 49% / What Else Is there ?".

Dannii Scott-leed!
this is not smart at all! have you heard the new dannii minogue b-side to her single "So Under Pressure" ? well it's not just awesome it's even better than the 19th single "Perfection" which took me 5 months (or maybe more) to accept & like, but with " Feel Like I Do" it immediately got sucked into my brain and the credit probably goes to the huge similarity with "Lisa Scott-Lee's" style specially the squeaky effect on dannii's voice at the chorus line "Feel Like I Dooo" the lyrics screams cheesy pop and the music & beat says dance dance. i personaly would preferred this to be the 19th single and perfection just a b-side, or at least if she released "So Under Pressure" instead coz "Perfection" is soo Un-original. "Feel Like I Do" is written by Dannie Minogue/Hannah Robinson (British Songwriter "Rachel Stevens, Sophie Ellis Bextor.."/JCA & produced by JCA (Jean Claude Ades) "world known dance dj/producer".

Lily Allen - Alright, Still
She is the daughter of actor/comedian Keith Allen and film producer Allison Owen. Allen created a MySpace account back in November 2005 to showcase some of her demos and check people's reaction toward her music, originaly the album was set to be released toward the end of 2006 but the increasing intrest & publicity surrounding Allen caused Regal Records to bring forward the release date for the album to july 17. The music on the album is a mixture between Alternative, Ska & Pop creating a Breezy & Amuzing music line, some tracks even sound like airline ads & restaurants with dancefloors in the 60's specially on "Everything's Just Wonderful" where u can hear similar music to the ones on shopping networks. Being the daughter of a comedian you know she must be funny and she does deliver that through her smart lyrics talking about daily issues & situations ppl get themself into such as the sarcastic song "Knock'Em Out" about when guys hit on girls in public & how rude the girls can be on purpose just to get rid of them or on "Alfie" where she sings about her stoned baby brother! Lily's vocals are undeniably easy on the ears with her obvious english accent & the freestylish way of singing.

Tracklist:

Crazy, Darker & Laid Back!
Last month "Gnarls Barkley" gave a special performance of their charts topper "Crazy" at the "Late Night With Conan O'Brien", i was watching it just for the gnarls barkley performance thinking they will sing the normal album version but suprisingly they did a 100% live new darker & laid back version of the song with the whole Band, Vocalists, Cee-Lo & Danger Mouse wearing their bathrobes & shower gear ! lol.. it kinda sux though because now i really want a studio version of that performance. Gnarls Barkley 2nd single form the album is "Smiley Faces" you should find it and give it a listen it's pretty good & catchy.

Nelly Furtado Loose Review
i know everyone already heard the album a million times but i'm just playing it for the 2nd time
while typing this review so don't brag about hearing it last week lol!

From the first 10 seconds of "Afraid" i get the feeling that this opening track will be
another poprock track that iwill forget once i get to the next track but oh no fe seconds later
& i knew that its going to be one of the highlights when the electronic echoes started to swing
form speaker to speaker & the whole gloomy/dark feeling captured me & gave me a
taste of how well produced the next songs are going to be. "Maneater" starts and i start
singing along with it until at 2:55 when my favourite bit comes "You'll wish you never ever met her at all"
but for some reson it soudned weirdly different i could swear i hear new music with but
i ignored thinking it will just fade out liek the radio edit..but ohh no theres a whole new outro verse
with new lyrics that little piece just renewed my love for the track i now like it even more,
Next is "Promiscuous Girl" i dont wanna write much about it its the first song i heard
before "Loose" was released & i many times told friends that it sounds like a track britney
would pick for her albums (a good thing trust me) going to the next track "Glow" this might
sound stupid but it reminds me of frogs and swamps it's probably the pipe effect all through
the song it wouldn't sound out of place if they ever use it on a ghosts animated movie
produced by "Tim Burton" the track itself sounds animated to me it's just weird.. did i say frogs ?
lol, anyway NEXT "Showtime" is very sultry/jazzy quite nice a change after few upbeat songs
its got a feel good sound to it it's the kind song that u hear 10 years later and gives u flashbacks
of the days when "loose" just leaked it also have some R&B traces in the begining don't it! Ok with
"No Hay Igual" at first it soudned to me like a red indians ritual music something a tribe would
sing while dancing around the fire but then..uh no there no then..it still sounds like that
still there's no doubt that its an automatic ass shaker. "Te Busque" the intro to this song
immediately brings the "Sugababes - Shape" chords into my head, & the song itself sounds like
a famous mexican series theme song, Usually i hate male guests on female songs specially if its rap
but on this the latin vocals of "Juanes" are adding more spice to it its neither a ballad or uptbeat just a medtempo checkpoint. Next is "Say It Right" haunting echoey music accompanied
by middleeastern tabla looping beat & electric guitar squeaks through some parts creating
some kind of a melancholic/lost feeling & an arguemental version of nelly furtado. Haha now "
Do It" is such a silly girlie song it sounds like an improved version of "Gwen Stefani - crash"
mixed with "Cyndi Lauper - Girls Just Wanna Have Fun" in a pink juice blender with shiny rainbow stars stickers all over it, very cute. "In God's Hands" typical acoustic pop ballad, soft melody,
great lyrics and the fact its sang by nelly with all the current loose hype it does makes it a tad
special but still this could've been sang by anyone and still sound good & it continues with
her relaxed vocals showcase on "What I Wanted" i'm sure those 2 will grow on me even
more after a couple more plays. Next is "Wait For You" and wow it feels soo good to hear a
vintage style timbaland production i havent heard a track like it since brandy's afordisiac era
smart move from him and nelly to bring this sound back again, complicated production with
exotic arabian nights mood and urban feeling together creating a nice buddha bar moment t
his is difinetly the most R&B-ish song on the album. ahh the moment i been waiting
"All Good Things (Come To An End)" ever since i heard the news of collaboration & that coldplay frontman Chris Martin co-wrote it & contributed his vocals to it but that moment of joy is
not even near complete WTF they removed his vocals this sux i dunno what's their excuse but
it would hav ebeen 10 times better if they kept it, still i consider it one of my fav tracks on the album
& IM STILL MAD AT EMI..DIE U BITCHES! Now jumping to the 2 Japanese bonus tracks first
"Let My Hair Down" why the hell didnt they include it as regular track ?? i love love love it
you can hear a dirty, slutty, dark seductive version of nelly even though there is not many
heavy layers of music still the sleaziness of it creates a tense condensed vibe its almost hypnotic
if it was a movie theme i would say 007 or charlies angels its just decievingly sexy. with that said
it only leads us to the encore of the japanese retail of loose with "Somebody To Loose" the first time i played the album i really didn't give a damn about it i even told my friend "Me No Likey"
but now playing it for the second time its actually sounds good the whole latin theme with loud piano keys
is always a good way to end a show gives that final boost before they say goodbye...So from intro to encore nelly succeeded in creating a theatrical pop show squeesed into a round piece of plastic
filled with aluminum of some kind called a CD, all youhave to do is insert it picture side up
hit the triangle button and enjoy.

Conclusion:
I'm glad the album is more "POP" than "R&B" & the fact Timbaland used alot of "Electro" sounds making this album, The only things i'm really upset about is that "Let My Hair Down" is a bonus track which means no chance of becoming a single & the fact that they removed "Chris Martin (Coldplay Frontman)
" Vocals from "All Good things (Come To An End)" soo for that reason i give the album 9/10!

I will be chilling through this summer with a big glass of icey pineapple slush & a bunch of pop culture magazines listening to "loose" loudly on my mp3 player by the pool.

Now i don't care if you downloaded it or your cousin bought it or ur friend is going to copy it for u or
even if your mom thinks she's a cunt.. GO OUT & BUY IT THIS IS AN ORDER. "Loose"
is something everyone should own on his CD collection & if u dont then shame on you.
Updates!
I Updated the "Albums Releases 2006!" section with more confimed albums/titles & highlighted the leaked ones. we also now have a "Guestbook".. do i have to explain what a guesbook is ? lol & finallya "Contact Us" link...Also the "Tee-Vee" section is back until the end of "Simple Life/Pimp My Ride/Celebrity Deathmatch" Season.

Bloc Party Confirms New Song Titles!
Bloc Party's Kele Okereke has revealed a brace of song titles that will be featured on the band's as-yet-untitled second album:
* Waiting For The 7.18
* Uniform
* Perfect Teens (formerly known as 'Machine')
* England (formerly known as 'Blue Moon')
* Song For Clay (formerly known as 'Merge On The Freeway')

The band have also recorded the songs 'Kreuzberg' and 'Cells Shaped Like Stars', though they may may not be included on the finished album.

Of the album's overall theme and possible title Okereke said:
"It's really, to me, very much an album about living in the city and I think a lot of the themes resonating on the record are pretty much about everyday living in the metropolis. So I guess the title's really gonna represent that for me."

R. Kelly SexTape To Be Shown In Court!
*The singer has always denied allegations made three years ago, A video which allegedly shows R Kelly having sex with an underage girl is set to be shown in court.
*A US judge has ruled that the tape should be shown to the public and that it is "the whole crux and lynchpin of the case", reports the BBC.
*Prosecutors and defence lawyers in the Chicago court asked the judge to restrict the screening of the video to the jurors, the legal team and the judge because the contents were so explicit that they would embarass the girl, who is now 21.
*But the judge ruled there was no "overarching interest" in banning the tape from public view.
*Allegations against the singer, who has denied 14 counts of child pornography, were made three years ago but the case has not yet come to trial.
*Prosecutors claim the tape was recorded when the girl in question may have been as young as 13.

Nâdiya New Album
Wow! Nâdiya just released her new & second album self-titled.
A wonderful
unique voice, and her style ? Mostly R'n'B, but the album is more a mix of ElectRock'n'BluesyLatino&Raggae + she have a lots of US & Arabs inspirations. The first single was "Tous Ces Mots" a big catchy ElectR'n'B song that seems to be off Fast & Furious OST. And now, she's releasing the second single "Roc" a Rock'n'B song awesome too with a beautiful middle-end part (A MUST HEAR)...
I saw her in live and she's really alive & gorgeous too...

"Beautiful Awakening" Promos

Quick R&B News!
"J Records" has sent out the promo of "Monica" new "Destiny's Child - Soldier-Esque" single "Everytime The Beat Drop" which features "Dem Franchize Boys" there is no release date for it yet & her crappy official site is still stuck in the past. ON the other hand "Def Jam " has signed a new female artist through "Disturbing Tha Peace" called "Shareefa" her first single already aired on radios and it's called "Need a Boss" Featuring Ludacris, The single is produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins. Another track that recenlt leaked and can be heard on the radio is "Nicole - Groove Tonight (ft. Last month when i was at the "Nina Sky" concert they weer tossing copies of their new single at the audience but too bad i didn't catch a copy, anyway it seems like the cd contained a new song produced by "Cool n Dre" who produced "Milian's So Amazin'" album, the song is titled "flippin That (Ft. Rick Ross)" their official site is currently under construction but they have a myspace for you to check while the're gone. There is no confirmation yet but it seems like "One Night" is going to be "Mya" new single.

Charlotte Church Not Impressed With Paris Hilton's Debut Single!
Charlotte Church weighed in on Paris Hilton's move to become a pop singer. "When I heard her song I thought, "Wow, isn't it amazing what NASA technology can do with someone's voice"," the Voice of an Angel sneered. "Paris is bloody awful. Honestly, I heard a bit of it on the radio and it's terrible. Everyone to their own but it's not like she needs the money."

Tune Of the Week : Röyksopp's Don't Go Came Back!
The story behind this track, this was recorded in the first 2002 Röyksopp album "Melody A.M." era but they decided not to include it in the album since it's style didn't fit with the rest of the tracks in any ways . A year later in 2003 they released the double disc "French Limited Edition" version of "Melody A.M." & "Don't go" finally saw the light as bonus track on the Extra disc. Funny thing they didn't know back then that this track "Don't Go" was going to be the trigger to their recent Electro-Dance style the adopted on the new album "The Understanding"! They discovered that style way before they even thought of creating a new album, if you listen to "Don't Go" you will imediately notice the obvious resemblance with "Only This Moment" & "Beautiful Day Without You". It's considered a Rare track since it was released on a France Only limited Edition. "Don't Go" is such a Brilliant Electro-Dance track it starts as a plain old skool beat then slowly builds with space zooming ambient echoes, smooth progressing munchy beat, airy almost unnoticable vocals, juicy accelerating electropop keys & tickling bleeps. "Don't Go" is a proof that Röyksopp are geniuses since they Created their future in the past.

Don't You Agree, What's Your Say ?

It’s a mix between Charlie’s angels and James Bond, but with better fightscenes… The score I’m doing for it is energetic electronica with guitarsand orchestra… Sounds pretty big!!

Official 2006 Fifa Anthem!
We all already know that the new "2006 Fifa World Cup : Germany" official theme song is "The Time Of Our Lives" performed by "Il Divo & Toni Braxton" which has been released on a "Maxi-CD" & will be included on the official world cup cd & toni's re-release of her latest album"Libra". The song itself is not enough motive to purchase "Libra 2006" or the "Maxi-CD" but since everyone is under the Fifa hype these days it will tremendously help with the sales. A nice ballad but not great, wish there was a solo braxton version.. it would've Rock'd!

"Sweet Sol Music "
These are torch songs of a sort; the piano forms the bedrock of the sound but it never dominates. This is more Bjork in the Tardis than Julie Garland's bleeding heart on stage at Carnegie Hall. Sol Seppy is the recording alias of Australian-English-Greek raised Sophie Michalitsianos, the classically trained musician who earned her indie rock kudos playing cello and guitar in the haunted static noir of Sparklehorse.

Here's some tracks I like from Sol Seppy's debut album "The Bells Of 1 2".
